This setting gives shape to our mission:  Providing concierge care in a small household where residents, caregivers and staff are family. Commonwealth House is a place where companionship and care advocacy enables your loved one to maintain his or her independence as much as possible, age with dignity and feel secure knowing that needed daily living assistance is always there for them.

Our mission is to provide living and care similar to that found at home with family. That’s more than mere words to us, and it is reflected in the resident experience.

The Care Home Concept

We provide the small setting and personalized care that larger, institutional assisted living communities lack. Commonwealth is unique in that residents can live in a true home and receive attentive, compassionate care from a team that treats them as family.

Private Pay

We do not accept Medicaid payment at this time.  We are different from more institutional assisted living facilities, which are designed for Medicaid payment.  We offer a quality-of-life alternative with better care that other facilities cannot match.

The Living Experience

Peaceful and friendly are the two words residents and their families often use to describe Commonwealth. Residents feel safe and comfortable aided by caring professional staff who are always ready to help – or just a chat. It is the home experience – minus the worries of living alone.  Commonwealth is peace of mind.
